ASE CASTING GRANULATED MOULD POWDER
Mold powder is used during the continuous casting steel production process, and its type is determined based on the grade of the steel product and the conditions of the casting machine
Types of powder:
- Ultra-low carbon (ULC) powders
- Low carbon (LC)

- Medium Carbon (MC)
- High carbon (HC)

- Thermal insulation and prevention of oxidation of the melt inside the mold
- Lubrication between the copper plates of the mold and the initial shell of the ingot
- Controlled heat transfer between the formed shell and the copper plates of the mold

ASE D-BAR SEALS
This paste is used during mold preparation to fill the gap between the cast ingot and the copper plates of the mold to start the casting machine
Role and properties:
- High refractoriness up to 1700 degrees Celsius and resistant to melt penetration when starting the casting line (prevention of break out caused by penetration)
- Easy installation without the need for special equipment during preparation
- Filling the gap between the imitation ingot and the copper plates without damaging the mold plates
- Lack of durability after use in the casting line and prevention of oxide scale deposition between the rollers
